Where You Can Run To For Relationship Advice

Going through some relationship posts on Nigeria's biggest forum, I came across this post "Stop Bringing Your Marital Problems on the internet" with valid points actually.

The author mentioned that those giving advice might not have experienced relationship and some are on the internet to catch cruise.

Hence, meet people around you that you trust. Your parents, trusted friends, spiritual fathers and mothers etc will give you better advice than online advisers.

The question is that, " are all advice meant to be followed?"

Just like the author is right, he is at the same time wrong.

Advices are not meant to be followed. You still have the choice to choose what you will adopt, this is why it is called advice.

You have to filter the advice given to you as some advice works for different people in different ways, it might be good for someone else but bad for you, this is why there is no manual for relationship or marriage.

Advice on the internet, just as it might be from a toddler, it can also be from a guru as it is a faceless forum. Even the most useless advice might be the needed ingredient to spice up your concerns.

Also, those you think can be trusted that are around you might be the confusionists you need to run away from.

It is called advised, for you to filter what you want and the one you don't want. It is called advice for you to pick what will suit you and make use while you trash the rest.

Remember, at times, there is sense in nonsense.

Listen, pick, use or dump. Wisdom is profitable to direct.
