Boss to staff relationship; THE STRICT

In order not to make this post to be long it will be divided into 3.

There are several kinds of bosses but i will only like to discuss about one of them now.

This is not to criticize anybody but to make ourselves better, for this, i will share my stand on this issue and you as a more experienced boss or individual can criticize me, support or add to it. If you can share short experience to back-up your point it will be very fantastic.

THE STRICT BOSS

This kind of boss do not tolerate any nonsense from anybody especially their staff, not just the male, but the female inclusive.

To them, your work is all they know about and are not interested in any other thing that happens to you as that is what you are being paid for and most not be toiled with.

The only relationship that exist is that of the job and once you misbehave, you are sent out of the business.

In fact, you are not allowed to mingle with other staff as you are to face your duty which you are paid for.

What i see to this is this, yes you must not mix work with pleasure but as  human being we deserve not to be treated like robots.

For great productivity, you need to derive happiness from your job.
How will i be happy when all my boss do always is to wear a frown face. I believe the status of your face shows the status of the job especially the progress. At such face, everyone will be timid which encourage mistakes.

Not that you open your teeth every time but the appearance alone is enough to motivate the staff to greatness or reduce their self esteem to loss for you.

You don't recognize your staff after a good job and you expect them to be motivated to achieve more, all you know is that you pay them and the duty they are hired for should be discharged.

The fact is that you earn more than the duties they discharge for you which is expected and as such you need to appreciate their efforts outside that which is mandatory, though it is unofficial but it makes them do more which in turns make you keep earning.

Human being love to be free and to feel at home wherever they may be. Rules and regulations is good to guide the affairs of all but as a leader i think you need to make your staff to be free especially with you.
All that is needed is to draw the lines between work and pleasure time, they should know you are serious when you mean it and other wise when it is it.
Through this, everyone can be happy.
I feel the job is not only what you should be interested in about your staff but their well-being also for greater achievements for you.
Your comment means a lot, please don't keep your thoughts to yourselves.
