If all through your stay with your parents, especially when you started undestanding the experience of life and your parents have given you all reasons to learn positive things from them as regards the cause of their happy home, then,  you need to learn from them directly or indirectly.

Experience they say is the best teacher. When we talk of having a great and happy home, therefore, you also need to learn from those that have/are still experiencing such.

Your wisdom alone may not be able to get you to that point considering the difficulties, thorns attached to a happy home because it is built overtime by two strong, determined and loving  minds.

Look back and ask right questions from the experienced when things seems to be going other way round and apply that which has been learnt where necessary if you want a lasting relationship.

Don't be shy or arrogant to ask questions from those you know that can help the bad situation of your relationship especially when the damage can still be repaired.

Remember, when you do the right thing many people will also be looking up to you as a source of motivation, you doing it right may also save many home/home-to-be.
