If he beats you it means he loves you

Don’t be afraid, it is not how this topic sounds it is in reality completely but partially in Russia. In Russia domestic violent was decriminalized, thereby supporting it to some extent.

You will be made to pay fine and do some environmental sanitation or domestic works as punishment for a fixed period of time if you are caught.

They believe this will reduce the interference of government in marriages.

Fine or domestic punishment to me isn’t enough for domestic violence as we have seen how bad some men are at controlling their temper and the brutal effect is an eye-saw.

I think they should be made to face the law. Possibly, the woman that moved such bill into law has not seen the kind of domestic violence we see here in Nigeria. Ranging from that of father to child and of husband to their wife.

Now, what that law says is that for those kind of men that did these to those women should just pay fine and clear the gutter for just a fixed period of time and not be called criminal and thrown into the prison?

Let me say this will not work in Nigeria, many men will be so glad and throw caution to the gutters. Those thieves called politicians will not even border keeping our money inside the grave yard or an empty building anymore, instead, they will prefer to physically abuse women since they have the money in abundance with no where to keep them.

Women should then run from the rich guys since it is just the money they will pay for that outrageous plastering and negative re-shaping.

Just like religion has successfully curbed immoralities in our society to a large extent, same also has the law to criminalize the perpetrators of domestic violence in Nigeria and other countries around the world.

Someone who can cause extreme pain on others is liable to kill which makes such person dangerous to the society and they should be made to face the full wrath of law so as to be a deterrent for would-be offenders.
