Is it a barrier for a woman to be older than the man in a relationship?

I have seen many topics opposing a man in a relationship with an older woman. Personally, i don't see anything bad in it.

Love is blind is almost a global anthem, so that shouldn't be so special.

We make so many things to look strange in Africa and this is why we see this issue as a barrier.

In fact, there are so many people in this kind of situation and are pretty happy, yet, no one is aware that the woman is older than the man.

With maturity, this can be achieved.

It takes a matured woman to understand the fact that love knows no bound and to recognize her responsibility as the wife even when the age is stating who the man is.

And i have not seen any manual that states that for a relationship/marriage to be successful the man must always be older than the woman.

It is here in Africa we say the woman will disrespect you when she is older than you forgetting that the moment a man starts sleeping with a woman he is 10 years(for example) older than, the status of the man has changed in the sight of that woman, the respect will start diminishing.

Most men are afraid because of the flexible nature of women, most times they are not what we think they prove to be because they work like weather.

Most men believe that after you have taken a woman to the altar is when you know her true nature, and this is why they feel it is not okay for the woman to be older than the man in any relationship.

The relationship can be fine if the two people involved are truly mature not just physically, but in all ramifications.

When each of the parties knows and performs his/her duties and responsibilities as at when due, not minding the age difference with lots of understanding and perseverance then, the relationship can lead to the promise land because even those that the husband is older than the wife are not still getting it right let alone when the reverse will be the case.
